ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Lakeysia

WHERE I COME FROM
Lakeysia Liddell has built her career around service, financial stewardship, and a commitment to her community. A native of Mississippi, Lakeysia graduated from Grenada High School in Grenada
before continuing her education at Jackson State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. She later pursued studies in Public Policy and Administration at Belhaven University, further strengthening her understanding of public-sector leadership and administration.
Faith and family are also important parts of Lakeysia’s life. She is a member of Springhill Christian Center in Raymond, Mississippi, and the proud mother of two children, Tiaria and Taylor. Lakeysia believes that experience should be used to move public service forward.
A THRIVING CAREER
In 2001, Lakeysia began her career with the Hinds County Chancery Clerk’s Office. During more than two decades of service, she has gained extensive firsthand knowledge of the office, its responsibilities, and the needs of the citizens it serves. Her experience has given her a strong
foundation in office operations, public service, financial management, and the importance of maintaining public records with care and accountability.
Lakeysia’s commitment to service extends beyond county government. Since 2008, she has served as Chief Financial Officer for Helping Hands Restoration, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. In this role, she brings her financial and administrative experience to an organization dedicated to serving others.
Lakeysia believes that experience should be used to move public service forward. Her vision is centered on responsible stewardship, accessible and efficient services, modernized records management, transparency, and treating every person who interacts with the Chancery Clerk’s Office with professionalism and respect.
Experience You Can Trust.
Service You Deserve.
